Copper Tongue Cleaner
Copper Tongue Cleaner
Tongue cleaning, or tongue scraping, is a daily Ayurvedic tradition involving the gentle removal of undesirable toxins and residues from the tongue. Traditionally performed using copper for its potent antiseptic properties, this practice eliminates bacteria responsible for bad breath, expels ama, or toxins, from the body, and enhances digestion by stimulating the taste buds.

How to use
Directions:
This daily ritual is best done first thing in the morning, prior to eating or drinking. Hold the tongue cleaner on either side. Extend the tongue out of the mouth & inspect for a coating. Place the tongue cleaner towards the back of the tongue & gently scrape the ama or film forward & out of the mouth. Wash the ama off of the tongue cleaner & repeat until the tongue is clean. Follow with PAAVANI Oil Pulling Oil.
Cleaning:
To clean the tarnish from your copper tongue cleaner, we recommend rubbing it with a lemon wedge covered in salt and wiping off with a clean, dry cloth. You may also clean your tongue cleaner using a boiled mixture of vinegar and salt (approximately 3 parts vinegar to 1 part salt). Let your tongue cleaner soak in the solution for 10-15 minutes, wipe with a dry cloth and rinse with water.
