With the rise of social media comes endless beautifying filters; we place more emphasis on our appearances than ever. We are noticing more of our flaws - from the tiny pores vs. poreless skin thanks to a filter to glowing, dimple-less body vs. natural skin with minor "imperfections" such as cellulite and stretch marks.
At Oil Divine, we take an all-natural approach to our products with how and what we formulate our blends with. We also carry a natural approach to enhancing your appearance to make you feel like your authentic best self.
Our Revitalizing Body Oil was formulated with prized botanical oils rich in essential vitamins, minerals, organic acids, amino acids, and antioxidants.
Hero ingredients such as jojoba, chia seed, and macadamia nut oils deeply hydrate every inch of your skin; squalane, jasmine, neroli, and sea buckthorn oils increase cell turnover for firmer skin, imparting beautiful natural scent that leaves you invigorated while dozen other botanical oils work together to leave your skin ageless and glowing.
Body Oil is a perfect standalone body treatment. But can also be used after dry brushing and incorporated into at-home body care rituals such as cupping and lymphatic drainage.
What is Cupping?
Cupping is an ancient healing practice that dates back thousands of years, it traditionally involved using the open side of heated cups directly on the skin to create a suction / vacuum effect.
Cupping has long been known for relieving pain by increasing blood flow, nowadays it is still used with the heat trapped inside. However, it has also taken the beauty world by storm for its benefits of reducing the appearance of cellulite and skin dimpling.
How to Treat Cellulite with Cupping & Body Oil
1. Apply a generous amount of Body Oil or mix it with a cream of your choice and slather all over the area you'd like to treat. This enables the cups to glide more easily, preventing any temporary skin bruising or injuries.
2. Place the cup on the treatment area, squeeze to suction, and release.
3. Glide the cup in a circular motion, as well as up and down. Continue these varying movements for 10 - 15 minutes.
4. Repeat 3 - 5 times a week and ideally work your way up to 10 - 15 minute sessions daily.
